As the son of an architect and builder, Raymond Hakimian developed a passion for architecture and new homes at a tender young age, often joining his father on trips to his development sites as early as four years old. 

 

Raised on Long Island, New York, Raymond was mesmerized by the buildings and landscapes that surrounded him and instantly knew this was his calling. Years of inspiration and dedication led to a Degree in Architecture, with Minors in Mathematics and Energy Conservation from New York Institute of Technology. He spent 3 years as an understudy to a local architect until finally joining the family business as Principal at MDC in 2002.

The foundation of impeccable quality comes from envisioning and experiencing the process from start to finish, which is a testament to Raymond's love for his craft. He is proud to have been part of the building team at the prestigious Long Island community of The Estates at Green Fields. His love for building dreams is evident in the attention to detail put into the dozens of custom and spec homes created under his supervision.
